Aliens vs. Predator 2 is a first person shooter divided into 3 races. Each race has 4 playable characters for online play with a multitude of weaopns and maps to play in. The single player game is played from each races stand point in a single story line. You see how each race plays a role in a fight for survival and dominance on planet LV-1201.
Humans are divided into marines and corperates in the multiplayer game. Each have 4 characters with different weapon sets which include pulserifle, smartgun, minigun, rocketlauncher, sniper rifle and more. Humans are also the only ones who can collect armor and health to keep themselves alive, equiped also with nightvision goggles, and other tools to help interact with a harsh environment. The human's greatest weapon is team work with strength in numbers.
Predators are feirce warriors, obsessed with the hunt. They enjoy game of every kind, but among their favourites are humans and xenomorphs. Hunt your pray in single player, while taking their heads for honor as you infiltrate a human excavation on LV-1201. Go head to head with other players online with a choice of 4 different predator types and advanced technology including cloaking device, energy sifter and a multitude of weapons, from high tech pistols to your trusty wrist blades.
Lastly is the alien race called Xenomorphs by humans. These highly inteligent monsters use their bodies as the most lethal of weapons. In single player you are a drone on LV-1201 beset against predators who hunt you and humans who wish to tame you. LV-1201 has been your home for thousands of years, and thats not about to change now. Aliens are the most versatile killing machines online. Use your claws and tail to tare through flesh, or the fatal head bite to decapitate your victims in one hit. The most powerful attributes are the pounce, which throws the full weight of the xenomorph at its prey paralizing them and dealing massive damage, and wall walking allowing you to stalk and move out of site.

All weapon sets have been re-ordered and characters have been modified in life and speed. Weapons have been balanced to promote better gaming performance. Additions include a whole new vision mode for human snipers and a pounce for the Praetorian. This modification is an all around hit and will change the way you play Aliens vs. Predator 2!
